Involved and Equal is a Community Interest Company with an ethos of promoting Disability Inclusion and Equality.

 

Our services are developed and shaped around the Lived Experiences of disabled people, their families and their support networks. Our bespoke training is evidence based and regularly updated to reflect the latest changes in the law and guidance and our trainers are experienced, knowledgeable and committed professionals with Lived Experience of being Disabled.

​As a CIC we provide a range of opportunities for people to share their Lived Experiences to be used in our training.

What We Do:

• Disability Equality Training: Deliver unique training based on lived experiences to highlight disability models, discrimination, and barriers to inclusion.

• Research Inclusion: Support researchers in adopting flexible approaches and centering disabled voices in health and care research.

• Raise Awareness: Work to combat social exclusion and provide disabled people with opportunities to understand their rights and needs.

• Focus on Lived Experience: Use personal experiences (Ian Atkinson has cerebral palsy) to offer genuine insights into disability issues.
